About Us

FluidMarkup works to create projects, sites, and services for the Web that are both beautiful and useful. Our work is W3C standards compliant and aims for accessibility and availability to all users on all platforms. All of our work is hand-crafted; designed and coded by us alone. This keeps filesize (your costs) down as well as providing an easy user interface.

Chris

Chris tends to be the resident designer for web and print work, but enjoys tinkering with code and systems administration. He enjoys simplistic and attractive designs and studies typography and photography when not moving pixels around the screen. He speaks (standards compliant) XHTML and CSS, PHP, MySQL, and works with Linux to create a stable platform for hosting any kind of project. He takes a realistic approach to web development and uses the tools at hand to create what best suits the user.

Chris runs Vista while fantasizing about a new MacBook Pro; using Photoshop, Dreamweaver (until the glorious day he can switch to Coda), FileZilla, PuTTy, and a myriad of browsers running under Vista, XP, and Ubuntu thanks to the excellent VirtualBox.
